Indian Spiced Lentils

1 1/2 cups Lentils
1/2 onion, chopped
2 Tab olive oil
2 Tab Red curry paste
1 Tab Garum Masala
1 tea yellow curry powder
1 tea turmeric
1 tea garlic
1 tea ginger
1-14 oz can Tomato puree
1 can Coconut milk or 1 cup heavy cream
cilantro, for garnish

Put rice on to cook.
Cook lentils in a pot of water as directed on the package or for approximately 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, saute onions in oil until soft. Add in all the spices and tomatoes. Stir. Add in Coconut milk. Simmer 15-20 minutes.
Serve over rice with cilantro as a garnish.
